Day 1
Jonathan and I set out on a journey to Joshua Tree National Park. After a major hassle checking into the hotel we drove to the park’s north entrance. Prior to moving to California, I had never been to the desert and I was overwhelmed by the beauty and mystique of this new world. 
We first visited the Jumbo Rocks and witnessed a beautiful sunset against the silhouette of the Joshua trees. It was getting dark however and we headed back to the hotel after stopping at a thrift store in a desolate town. |
